Terms of Service

The terms under which Protocol 4 Pro produces work.

Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. The service

Protocol 4 Pro is a cinematic media production service operated by P4 One LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we," "our," "us"). The service produces short vertical videos (typically 5–15 seconds), AI image packs, and photo-to-video bundles for use in marketing, social, and brand placements.

2. How a project starts

A project begins when you submit a quote request through the website and we reply with a scope, deliverable list, and price within one of the published budget bands:

  • $150 – $300 — entry concepts and small image packs.
  • $300 – $750 — short cinematic builds.
  • $750 – $1,500 — multi-asset packages.
  • $1,500+ — larger or custom multi-deliverable engagements.

The scope and price become binding when you accept the quote in writing (email reply is sufficient) and pay the deposit.

3. Deliverables — what you get

  • Format: Short vertical video (9:16) at 5–15 seconds for short builds, or longer where the agreed scope says so. Image packs delivered as high-resolution files in the formats listed in the scope.
  • Resolution: Standard delivery is 1080p vertical for video unless 4K is specified in the scope.
  • Final files: Delivered via download link. Source project files are not included by default.

4. Revisions

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds, stated in the accepted scope. Two rounds is the standard default for short cinematic builds; image packs are typically one round per image. A revision round means a single consolidated batch of change requests, not a continuous back-and-forth.

Out-of-scope changes (new concept direction, additional deliverables, restarts after final approval) are quoted separately before any work begins.

5. Customer-supplied content

You ("the client") may send photos, logos, brand assets, scripts, and other reference media so the team can build your deliverables. By sending content to us, you confirm:

  • You either own the content or hold a valid license that permits its use in the deliverable.
  • You have the rights to any people, products, or trademarks shown in the content.
  • You grant us a limited license to use that content for the sole purpose of producing the deliverables you commissioned, including running it through generative AI tools as part of the production pipeline.

You retain ownership of your input content. Our license to it ends when the project is closed and revisions are complete, except for an internal archive copy held for re-supply and warranty purposes.

6. Ownership of deliverables

Once final invoice is paid, the finished deliverables are licensed to you for unlimited use in your own marketing, social, and brand channels. We retain the right to display the finished work in the studio portfolio and case studies unless you ask in writing for the project to be kept private.

7. Generative AI — disclosure and limits

Important — generative AI is part of how we produce. Protocol 4 Pro deliverables are produced using a combination of human direction and generative AI tools. We make no representation that AI-generated frames are indistinguishable from camera-captured footage. Some imagery in your final piece may have been synthesized rather than filmed.

Specific limits that will not be crossed, regardless of request:

  • No celebrity or public-figure likeness — no AI imagery will be generated to imitate any identifiable real person without that person's documented written consent.
  • No protected-trademark replication — no logos or trade dress will be generated to imitate a third party's marks.
  • No deceptive deepfakes — no content will be produced if it is engineered to be mistaken for authentic footage of a specific real event or person.
  • No likeness guarantees — when you provide a photo of yourself or a team member for a photo-to-video build, the AI output is a stylized representation. Perfect facial likeness is not guaranteed, and you accept that some interpretive variation is inherent to the medium.

You are responsible for confirming you hold the rights to any faces, brands, voices, or trademarks you ask the team to include. We may decline any request that appears to create a rights or safety risk.

8. Payment

  • Deposit — typically 50% of the agreed price, due before production starts.
  • Balance — due on delivery of the final files. Files transfer to your unlimited-use license on receipt of full payment.
  • Invoicing — handled by P4 One LLC.

9. Refunds and cancellation

If you cancel before production starts, the deposit is refundable minus any concept work already performed. Once production has started, the deposit is non-refundable. If a project is cancelled by the studio for reasons within our control, any amount paid for work not yet delivered will be refunded.

10. Service availability and turnaround

Turnaround times stated in the scope are best-effort. We will communicate proactively if a project will run past the stated window. The studio is not liable for delays caused by missing client inputs, third-party vendor outages, or events outside our reasonable control.

11. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Generative AI output depends on third-party vendors and model behavior that can vary over time.

Informational only. Nothing on this page constitutes legal advice. The descriptions of intellectual property, likeness rights, and AI-generated content are practical operating rules — not a legal opinion. For your own legal questions, consult a qualified attorney.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim arising from your use of Protocol 4 Pro is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. The studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunity.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify P4 One LLC against third-party claims arising from content you supplied — including claims that the content you sent us infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, likeness, or publicity rights, or that you did not have the right to send it for AI processing.

14. Acceptable use

  • Don't send us content you don't own or don't have rights to use.
  • Don't ask us to produce material targeting an identifiable real person without their documented consent.
  • Don't ask us to produce material intended to deceive viewers as to its authenticity in a way that could cause harm.
  • Don't resell or rebrand our service as your own without written permission.

We may decline or terminate a project that violates this section.

15. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the service or these terms. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes that affect active projects will be communicated by email before they take effect on your engagement.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
